How to apply for assistance through the Girls of Fire Empowerment Program

Post by THE GIRL OF FIRE on Fri Aug 30, 2013 1:07 pm

We here at Girls of Fire want to help make it possible for ALL women to realize their personal protection goals. We also realize that this may be financially difficult at times. If you need assistance in paying for education, training, certification, Concealed Carry Licensure, or gear that is necessary for your training we encourage you to apply through our Girls of Fire Empowerment Program.

As funds become available, one woman at a time will be selected to receive assistance. Funds will only be paid to instructors/programs/vendors that are licensed and meet all of the necessary criteria that their State requires and no payments will be issued directly to applicants.

Again I will mention that we are going on the honor system here...if it is not a hardship for you to obtain these items for yourself, please refrain from applying so that funds can be directed where they are most needed.

To apply (or to nominate someone) please send an email to describing what type of class/training/gear you are applying for assistance with and what the associated cost is. Please include detailed contact information for yourself (or the person you are nominating) and and the instructor or program you will be receiving your training from. Also include your forum and/or FaceBook Id. Be sure to put "Girls of Fire Empowerment Program Application" in the subject line of your email.
