    Hello! I am a SAHM mom in the beautiful state of Alaska. I was born and raised here and could never live anywhere else. In Alaska its legal to OC and CC without a permit and I exercise my right to do so on a daily basis. So does 95% of the population.  Its very common place to see someone with their firearm holstered where ever you go.  I actually feel strange when I don't have mine. Almost like when people forget their watch or cell phone at home. We hunt, fish, ride, gold prospect...you name it.  We live the Alaskan lifestyle!

    Welcome from Fondis, CO.
    I may not live in the outback of AK, but I do live out in the country where emergency services are at least 30-45 minutes away on a good day, so like you, I have learned to be my own protector. It's just the right thing to do. Smile
